I thought you were only mine-Poem

Hey my friends and lovely bloggers, how are you doing😊❤️ I wrote a poem which is inspired by a poem I had read in school and it inspired me to write nostalgic. This poem is nostalgic and it’s my first time writing it, hope you’ll like it the way I loved writing it.🥰

The day I met you was not ordinary as it seems

Entangled in all your feelings u had for me

When all others couldn’t see how much u felt

I alone always believed u’re the one I dreamt

Believed that you are the one, your love seemed true

Waited for that day to come when u confess

Followed your loving paths and wanted to pursue

Cause only I knew the love you possessed 

When we got to know how we both felt

My first and best moment of my life

Your sweet love you’s would make my heart melt

But later I realised this ain’t right

None of this was suppose to happen before

Now when it happened, I cant let to seem it go

I watched you as you left from the door

That feeling became out of control as it grows

Ur sweet talks made my world

It was a fantasy u had spun

It was like sunflowers which has blossomed from buds

But now every tear drop on flower creates blood

Ur poems treated me as a queen

Ur affection and care touched me

But when none of this existed

They marked as scar and became misted 

I thought you were only mine

Yes, you had promised me

Now that I know they were lies

You became dead for me

Your flowers of love became black

Every sweet memory of ours, cracked

Now when you miss me, want me in life

I seem to say, “no thank you, I am alright”
