A New Beginning- Poem

Hello bloggers and my lovely readers, it’s been long time since I have written a poem. I lost track but now m back😊😘 hope you will love it a lot as much as I did writing it.

A new journey awaits, at my doorway

Scared and agitated , to answer the call

An undivulged path, with countless ways

But I take a step further as I lower down the walls

As I recall the memories of the year

Recollecting them with the ones near

The keys to reminiscence are lost, but that’s alright

The delightful days are forever, stuck in my mind 

A year filled with challenges I faced 

Kept distances with the ones I hate

Dreadful fights led to me needing space 

But now I love them, cant control the fate 

With every happiness, sadness comes

Sorrowful memories bring tear drops to eyes

Thinking about them makes my body numb

It hurts and kills me from inside 

I was standing between the black sea

Even the seas lost their lustre and shine 

I was choking in the past year and couldn’t breathe

But now I rather not sit and cry 

No point of dragging the saddening moments

When this year’s gonna be great and sweet

2022 is a game of chess with opponents

It’s better to lose fair then win with cheat 

It was the past I seemed to let it go

Now I look forward to new things in my life

Let destiny and love rule this show

And now I strive to reach taller heights
